TCL/LJ 3767: Our client seeks an administrator for an assignment within its childrens services division.
We are acting for an E London based local authority
The post will be located in Barking and will be for 36.00 hpw, Mon-Fri, normal working hours
This is anticipated to be, initially at least, a 3 month assignment.
Essence of role:
Support work of the Services manager. Word processing, producing minutes, dealing with enquiries and letters. Keep diary/arrange meetings. Admin support and general office duties. Reponsibility for Petty cash/orders/invoices. Liaising with outside agencies. Keeping files/data bases on all students from the sec.
Candidate requirements (*indicates must be CLEARLY EVIDENT FROM YOUR CV, not just your covering letter, to avoid auto-rejection by client):
* Enhanced CRB check in place
* Ability to work under own iniative and meet tight dealines
* Excellent telephone manner and communicating skills
* Methodical, accurate and ability to multi-task
* Good administrative skills and computer literacy
UK local authority or other public sector experience advantageous, but not a prerequisite
