Job Description
Lifeskills Solutions are a leading Learning Provider in London. We are also a grade 2 Ofsted provider. As part of our expansion plans we are recruiting for the following vacancies:
Job Title: Finance Compliance Officer
Area: Finance
Based: Islington (head office)
Salary: £22,000
€¢ Upload data to the relevant partners / YPLA in accordance with claims
submission timescales
€¢ Reconcile Lifeskills Solutions data to the YLPA / Partner data and notify them of any anomalies.
€¢ Reconcile PICS data to individual centre data to ensure all learners are captured.
€¢ Produce data relating to statistics on a monthly basis.
€¢ Process bills when required
€¢ Issue budget spreadsheets to Managers
€¢ Chase progressions for centres as and when required
€¢ Complete research-related activities as and when required
€¢ Vet, evaluate, transfer, action and/or resolve incoming enquiries (face-to-face or by telephone) for Lifeskills Solutions, SRF/PPS and A4e
€¢ Complete tasks for SRF / PPS and A4e as and when required
€¢ Liaise with communications Manager at the Business Design Centre regarding needs e.g. booking meeting rooms, etc
€¢ Deal with customers in a timely, efficient, courteous and professional manner
€¢ Attend meetings as and when required
€¢ Ensure that all paperwork is filed appropriately in a timely manner and in-line with data protection requirements (Data Protection Act 1998).
€¢ Register Learners online to receive Oyster Cards via TFL.
€¢ Process high volumes of invoices to agreed timescales
€¢ Check all goods were received and company have been invoiced correctly
€¢ Code invoices correctly to VAT codes
€¢ Pay invoices by cheque / BACs
€¢ Handle any queries from suppliers – e.g. in relation to late payments
€¢ Identifying reasons for coding errors and implement system improvements
€¢ To assist in other areas of the financial function as and when required
€¢ To uphold equal opportunities Policy and other policies and procedures of Lifeskills Solutions.
€¢ To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
€¢ To undertake necessary in- house training and any training needs identified in appraisal.
€¢ To undertake any other routine task, as required by senior staff.
