REPORTING TO: ESTIMATING MANAGER/ESTIMATING SUPERVISOR
· Log new customer enquiries and allocated reference numbers
· Update enquiry and quotation lists as required
· Liaise with the relevant person/s whom have generated an enquiry to ensure you have all the relevant information available.
· General competitive estimates based on information provided and gathered.
· Contact sub-contract suppliers and obtain costs for items/operations not within PPE\'s capabilities.
· Prepare drawings, faxes and emails to facilitate the above where required.
· Liaise with appropriate departments to determine best or most appropriate method of manufacture.
· Quotations to be submitted to the following for checking/agreeing:
§Estimating Manager
§Estimating Supervisor
§Managing Directors
§Production Director
