Job Description

Working in Finance Planning & Analysis, this is an opportunity for a Qualified Accountant working with 2 direct reports to provide high quality analytical support to the Retail division.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluation of current and future developments in relation to financial and business strategies related to the retail division
- Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process within the division
- The development of systems and reports to enable more efficient reporting and analysis, and a deeper understanding of performance trends and dynamics
- The management and motivation of two Financial Analysts
- Ad Hoc analysis and project work including financial modelling and project appraisal
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Experienced in a commercial management accounting role
- Advanced Excel skills with experience of developing financial models
- Strong analytical skills. ideally with experience of investment appraisal and other analytical techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with non-finance individuals
- A self starter, and highly customer focussed
