• What’s involved:
To be a door keeper letting students and parents in safely for Music Service sessions – mainly after-school, evenings and some weekends
To be aware of Health and Safety matters and work with the Head of Service to ensure that appropriate action is taken
To ensure that students and other visitors adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines of the Music Service premises
To ensure that all conductors are present and be the first point of contact for any staff running late
To assist in preparing the Music Service premises for use
To liaise between Music Service Office staff and teachers and pupils who attend Music Service activities
To assist in distributing letters/information to music students. This does not include mailing letters by post
Maintain and update Music Service notice board
To assist at concerts and events as required – usually 2-3 times per term
